AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the creation of machines that work and react like the human mind.

Alexa

Alexa is Amazon’s cloud-based voice service that customers use to interact with technology in a fun and dynamic way through natural, voice conversations.

API

Application Program Interface (API) allows software to communicate with each other so that information can be requested and delivered. It is through an API that Voice Atlas can be integrated with your website.

Atlas

Is a knowledge set created by a compilation of content items in plain text. An Atlas may contain any number of items.

Chatbot

A chatbot is an artificial intelligence (AI) program that interacts with customers like a human.

Chatlas

Chatlas is the Voice Atlas chatbot that lets users ask questions to the Atlas via text.

Content

Content is made up of the individual items added to an Atlas. When a user makes a request, the information provided comes from the content added.

Device

A device is any piece of equipment that allows interaction between the user and the Atlas via voice/speech recognition.

Item

Is a single piece of content a creator adds to an Atlas. It is the way knowledge is organized in an Atlas. An item may or may not contain a question.

Request

A request is an interaction between a user and the Atlas, which may or may not be in the form of a question. When a request is made, the Atlas provides information.
